Pros
Great First Sales Job- will give you a yardstick to measure all other companies. In a nutshell, very good products that deliver on the goal, but the customer has to be willing to pay for the service. The guarantee is also 'basically' bulletproof. 100% Commission: During Good months: GREAT (March -October). You can make a great deal of money, as long as you have very little home life outside of work, and enjoy working weekends. [M-F, average 12-16 hour days, Saturday- 6-8 hours, again all commission.] .
Cons
100% Commission: During Winter (November-February)- Budget at home is critical, very little coming in. Changing salary structure (roughly every 3 months) and if you do the math you see the older, more experienced sales territories end up bringing home less. Note: Most branches want you to bring in on average $40K/month- just to break even. You use computer tablets to construct your quote platform. On occasion, the parameters in the program have been wrong. At face value, should be an IT issue, but sales is penalized if they can increase the price to cover this "phantom" mistake. Have it happen on 1-2 large jobs, instead of clearing 35-50K, company can actually lose money because they didn't correct of the software. (Net result- salesman losses the next several large opportunities because he/she didn't know how to 'fudge' the numbers. Because they have (probably) the best chemistry and application methods, the service is pricey. But underneath the price is a great guarantee.
