Pros

Managers are chill, and seem to genuinely care about techs. If you want overtime they’ll give it to you. Pay isn’t half bad on production (commission based) I’m looking at around 55-60k this year. Company car, gas card, and work phone.

Cons

It’s a customer service job, so everything that entails. You can work long hours and occasional Saturdays. If you want overtime they’ll give it to you. You have a route to complete so taking a day off means you have to catch up on your stops later. So even if you have vacation days if you want to take a week off expect to work a couple Saturdays that month to catch up. Difficult to move up the ladder. I’ve been told some people made more as a tech than a manager. If you don’t want to smell like dead rats, and/or are scared of spiders this ain’t it dude.

Pros

The interview itself was professional, and the position initially appeared to offer strong career potential. The compensation package, company vehicle, and advancement opportunities were what attracted me to apply in the first place.

Cons

The hiring process was excessively long, impersonal, and poorly communicated. I was repeatedly told the company was excited to have me join the team, yet I was never given an opportunity to discuss or explain my background before being rejected. Communication consisted almost entirely of generic, copy-and-paste emails, leaving me feeling like another number instead of a person.
