Pros
Overall a decent work environment. I like being out on my own and doing what I need to do with really no one over your back watching. At times there's large jobs where 3 or 4 of us have to go and work. No issues with other employees. Decent pay. Company truck and gas card. 401K. Sometimes you're busy and other times you're not. Service manager is easy to deal with when have a doctor's appt. I do try and make it first thing or end of the day though.
Cons
Sometimes it's about making money rather than doing everything to make a customer happy. The 3 absolutes. Ethics, Safety, Controls. Read the first sentence in this section and that takes care of ethics and controls. Safety.... well my manager has been known to say, " I'll buy it when they tell me to buy it." How does someone who is supposed to uphold these 3 absolutes care so little about them. Pretty much a do as I say not as I do situation. My specific job has some specific equipment that I'm still waiting on after three months. I can't even get a hammer replaced. I even provided a large storage container for my truck cause I needed more space. It's about making money, not spending it. If you have no ethics or morals, this is a good company. If working for a company that sounds like this doesn't bother you... apply. If this stuff eats at you, don't bother. Just saying
