Pros

Tevora is an outstanding company for cybersecurity professionals looking to grow their careers. The work environment is highly collaborative, with leadership that is both accessible and supportive. Career advancement is a significant perk at Tevora, with clear growth paths and strong support for certifications like CISSP and CISM. Compensation is competitive, with great benefits and PTO.

Cons

The fast-paced nature of consulting means some projects require long hours, especially around audits and tight client deadlines. The workload can be uneven, with some periods significantly busier than others. Additionally, travel expectations may be high depending on the role, which may not suit everyone.

Pros

I’ve worked at several cyber companies over the course of my career, and Tevora stands out for the quality of the people and the collaborative culture. The team is genuinely smart, supportive, and committed to doing great work for clients. As an Account Director, I’ve had the opportunity to work with some incredibly well-known brands across a wide range of industries. The exposure to different environments and challenges keeps the work interesting and accelerates learning in a way that’s hard to replicate elsewhere. One thing I appreciate is the level of ownership you’re given. If you’re proactive and want to build something, leadership is supportive and encourages initiative. The company is also full of people who genuinely care about cybersecurity and about helping clients succeed. It’s a place where strong performers can grow quickly, build deep expertise, and have a real impact.

Cons

Like most consulting environments, the pace can be fast and client demands can fluctuate, so you have to be comfortable balancing priorities. But if you enjoy solving complex problems and working with talented people, it’s a rewarding environment.
