Pros
The high level management team really does want you to be happy, productive and engaged and try to touch base with each employee on an anonomous basis to see how their mid-level management team is doing.
Cons
They are so politically correct, you can't breathe without offending someone. Mid-level management is a tight circle so moving internally is difficult and if you get on the bad side of some mid-level manager's, there is no recovery from that. You swim with sharks every day.
