Has expanded its student base rapidly over the last few years as a way of bringing in more money, but neglects to really build on the infrastructure (more classrooms, more faculty, more staff), or to raise salaries to accommodate rising costs and workload. The result is nearly all the faculty and staff is stressed out and overworked, there are fights over teaching spaces since there aren’t enough to accommodate the literally thousands of students added per year, and most people are still making about what they did 5 years ago for the effort. The turnover rate for staff and faculty is becoming outrageous. Oh, and you have to pay (and fight) for your own parking. And despite the lack of work space and parking, there are very few remote opportunities for staff.
