Good Entry-Level Work - Food Service Worker Texas Tech University Employee Review

Pros

Short training was available for a $0.25/hr raise and was paid once the university shut down from COVID-19 through May 2020 by using average hours worked per week beforehand. People and customers were nice.

Cons

Supervisor watched very closely every move which could be a little nerve-wracking and despite being hired for a station or 2 during lunch rush, ended up working up to 4 stations by myself a few times during lunch rush which was stressful and chaotic.

Pros

The job itself isn't very demanding, if you have a general knowledge of computers/IT, you'll do fine.

Cons

the only con is whenever there's big waves of accounts or specific times of the year, it can get pretty busy.
