Pros

State institution, great benefits, great environment

Cons

I used to have so much respect for Texas Tech, however, with this administration of President Bailey, there has been a shift in change management. Campus-wide, 20-somthings are being hired into critical roles that are high level and carry much areas of responsibilities. They are replacing employees who have a vast amount of experience and replacing them with a younger age group with little or no experience. Therefore, I suppose if you are in your 20s and with little experience, go ahead and apply for a vice president position, you are sure to get it!

Pros

The job itself isn't very demanding, if you have a general knowledge of computers/IT, you'll do fine.

Cons

the only con is whenever there's big waves of accounts or specific times of the year, it can get pretty busy.
