Pros

Fairly low stress, easy work when the division was properly staffed. It was a 9-5 type of job when overtime was not mandatory. Nice support staff. Ability to work from home if you had a good excuse.

Cons

The division was usually understaffed due to the unfulfilling nature of the work and the awful pay. Management didn't care about the attorneys or make any effort to improve conditions or pay. A consulting team came in and told them the attorneys were the key to the success of the entire division and every effort should be made to retain those on staff, so their brilliant response was to make overtime mandatory for the already overworked, underpaid attorneys.
