Pros
People are generally pretty nice. Decent benefits. Nice current office in North San Jose.
Cons
Wide variation in the level of technical ability of the engineers. Some are quite good. Others, not so much Not enough young people Lots of standard engineering practices (e.g., unit tests) have not been implemented, or very inconsistently. Not enough engineering resource! Engineers are pulled from one project onto others for months, leading to a lot of stalled development. Too many cases where one person is the only one that knows something. If they're not available, development stalls. Not enough QA resource to test everything that needs to be tested, leading to stalled development Too many simultaneous releases Project management interaction with engineering is completely broken.
