Pros
Great company that is growing rapidly. There are some great leaders that has been with the company for a very long time and are still willing to do the hard work. The overall concept of the software package is brilliant and innovative. The President is a very generous person that loves to bring in food for the staff. He keeps the kitchen stocked with healthy snacks and he really cares about the well being of the staff. Compensation is good and there are bonuses that are given at several times of the year unexpectedly. Most times bonuses are given to those that put in the hard work.
Cons
The project deadlines are sometimes unreasonable and results in the delivery of poor quality. Poor quality means poor delivery to the customers. This sometimes requires long working hours for the employees once the customer launch and results in no work/life balance. This company has great leaders, but the leadership team can never make decisions without the President micro managing their decisions. As the company grows, the President will need to step away from a lot of the day to day operations and trust the management team in order for the business to grow successfully. There is also a lack of process due to the rapid growth of the company. The company needs to take a step back and formalize process in all departments.
