Severely overworked, major misalignment on pay structure - (I.e, higher sales roles are paid on commission to bring to business in, account manager roles are stuck supporting all of that new business with a constantly growing workload and no monetary reflection of it), not enough support to do your job well - to the point where it felt like constant lying to and taking advantage of clients who paid us to represent them. Not enough hours in the week to complete the workload, constantly feeling reactive instead of proactive. The company culture as a whole also feels very boys-club, like a few old friends started a company together and despite it having grown exponentially, they do not invest in pieces that make it feel like employees are valued (for example, no formal training or culture offered), the whole place just feels scrapped together. Also was told by HR in the interview process that “there isn’t really growth opportunities past this role (retail account manager)”
