Great work life balance, good people, unsatisfying work - Process Development Associate I The Broad Institute Employee Review

Pros

Work life balance is really unmatched. I worked 40 hours a week on a bad week. All the people are energetic, young, and nice. After you pay your dues you get a lot of freedom and career advancement opportunities at an early age.

Cons

The first two years in process development you are going to be doing primarily production work with limited opportunity to pursue your own experiments. Non-profit payscale.

Pros

Benefits, such as PTO and health, are fantastic.

Cons

A pro and a con are there are rarely set ways to do things. You can pave your own way, but others could be paving a way to the same destination and just creating more paths when it would be better to work together.

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We love that you feel the autonomy to pave your own way here, and recognize that also can present its own challenge with duplicating efforts.
