Pros

We have access to all the latest technologies, and the group leaders are constantly pushing to expand our knowledge of human disease. Plus all of the projects are aimed at solving a problem that humanity faces, which makes the boring parts of the job easier to get through.

Cons

To my knowledge there is not much room for advancement among staff scientists, the pay is relatively low compared to nearby companies, and the large number of upper-management employees can make getting small things done overly complicated.

Pros

Benefits, such as PTO and health, are fantastic.

Cons

A pro and a con are there are rarely set ways to do things. You can pave your own way, but others could be paving a way to the same destination and just creating more paths when it would be better to work together.

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We love that you feel the autonomy to pave your own way here, and recognize that also can present its own challenge with duplicating efforts.
