      huge networking opportunities collaborative environment interesting cutting-edge science well-funded respected organization, looks good on resume reasonably flexible schedule

      poorly defined career paths non-profit so no bonuses science and management functions tend to blur together in non-defined ways personnel turn-over is huge

      Pros

      Benefits, such as PTO and health, are fantastic.

      Cons

      A pro and a con are there are rarely set ways to do things. You can pave your own way, but others could be paving a way to the same destination and just creating more paths when it would be better to work together.
