It's also an extraordinarily inclusive environment and accepting of all walks of life and cultures. The Broad invites and nurtures excellence, but also accepts very early career scientists with a commitment to providing mentoring and career guidance.
Cons
The Broad could work on improving the job architecture and be more transparent with salaries and job responsibilities matrix. While the Broad is competitive as far as academic employment, it is plausible that appreciating the workforce could improve productivity and inspire creativity.
