Pros

Passionate people across the org wanting to make a difference in the world. Budgets were tight which is typical for non-profit, but expectations were high.

Cons

Many scientists seemed to vilify the admin people who worked tirelessly to help make the science happen. They did not often see that working as a team is what made dreams come true.

Pros

Benefits, such as PTO and health, are fantastic.

Cons

A pro and a con are there are rarely set ways to do things. You can pave your own way, but others could be paving a way to the same destination and just creating more paths when it would be better to work together.

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We love that you feel the autonomy to pave your own way here, and recognize that also can present its own challenge with duplicating efforts.
