Pros

Huge firm, lots of connections to make, lots of people great to meet, great corporate events, streamlined work process, lots of great benefits. There's room to pivot to other departments with relevant experience.

Cons

Hard to move up, lots of office politics involved with promotions. Some people get promoted every year, others every 5+ years. It's certainly not a meritocracy. Most of your salary is tucked behind your annual bonus, so the base pay isn't ideal and probably lower than what you could get elsewhere. Health insurance is wildly expensive. Work-life balance isn't ideal, and working weekends is pretty common.
