Pros

The company does a great job investing in your training. Even better, the trainers are specifically selected- and with good reason! They are truly the subject matter experts and invest their time, feedback and celebration in you day in and day out. The environment makes you crave the opportunities, and whether that leads to a success or failure, they are going to be by your side to cover all of the pluses and minuses. If sales isn’t your background, no problem. You are going to get every tool in the box that you will ever need, but it’s on you act with it and keep showing up to improve your results. I appreciate The Connor Group’s commitment to keeping their teams at every level aware of what is going on in the business. Their short, simple broadcasts are an easy win in connecting the organization. Lastly, I’ll call out their culture. They drill it in you from day one, and every person I have met through my training bleeds it. They practice what they preach no matter the title and expect the same from you.

Cons

No cons. Just know going in that its an investment of your time- whether that be at work or through travel away from your home. It’s not for the weak, so be ready to be flexible and invest the time in yourself to find success.

Pros

You have the opportunity to work alongside hardworking, like-minded individuals who encourage and inspire you to continuously improve your own performance. The compensation and benefits package is competitive, and there are additional opportunities to earn recognition and rewards for your contributions, which is a nice added benefit.

Cons

You may occasionally be asked to take on responsibilities outside the typical scope of your role. While I don't personally see that as a drawback, I can understand how others might. The hours can be long, and some days are certainly stressful. That said, it's hard to think of many jobs that don't come with occasional stress or require long hours from time to time.
