Pros

Decent pay and benefits. My coworkers are nice

Cons

Who is writing these positive reviews? The sales pressure is insane. I’m literally knocking on doors of people five months into their lease telling them to renew. Which means turnover at our buildings—for our own people but also for tenants—is so high. Which just compounds things. We’ve had at least six property managers and 3 different technicians at our property in a year

The Connor Group Response

We’re glad to hear you appreciated the pay and benefits. This job isn’t easy. We are very clear about that during the interview process. Turnover is not something we take lightly. We invest in our associates and have expanded training bootcamps for all positions both in market and at our Central Support Office in Dayton. We’ve spent millions training our associates, and during times of recession, actually doubled down and invested more in training initiatives. While the job can be intense, we often hear our associates thrive when challenged to do the impossible. Culturally, we don’t shy away from things that are hard or difficult – and it sounds like this might not have been the right fit for you.

Pros

You have the opportunity to work alongside hardworking, like-minded individuals who encourage and inspire you to continuously improve your own performance. The compensation and benefits package is competitive, and there are additional opportunities to earn recognition and rewards for your contributions, which is a nice added benefit.

Cons

You may occasionally be asked to take on responsibilities outside the typical scope of your role. While I don't personally see that as a drawback, I can understand how others might. The hours can be long, and some days are certainly stressful. That said, it's hard to think of many jobs that don't come with occasional stress or require long hours from time to time.
