Pros

Great Benefits, good pay, decent hours, great coworkers depending on the property. I was fired after not meeting my sales goals after only 5 months of being delegated goals with 0 sales background. Was told my job was not to sale apartments but to manage the property. Go figure….

Cons

Highly competitive field with huge holes in training. You will be blamed for underperforming regardless of your training or real insight on how to improve. All things said was a great experience and got to have a lot of fun for my tenure. Self accountability is the biggest factor in your success, also be very good job politics.

Pros

You have the opportunity to work alongside hardworking, like-minded individuals who encourage and inspire you to continuously improve your own performance. The compensation and benefits package is competitive, and there are additional opportunities to earn recognition and rewards for your contributions, which is a nice added benefit.

Cons

You may occasionally be asked to take on responsibilities outside the typical scope of your role. While I don't personally see that as a drawback, I can understand how others might. The hours can be long, and some days are certainly stressful. That said, it's hard to think of many jobs that don't come with occasional stress or require long hours from time to time.
