Seriously, this place is great to work at:
- The people are amazing, gifted, fun, kind, caring; all the things you look for in a company.
- We get to work on a lot of different projects with a lot of different types of businesses, so it keeps me on my toes.
- Open vacation policy = I got to take off two weeks to spend with my family after the birth of our new daughter, AMAZING!
- Did I mention the people? The people are what keep me coming back, energized, and excited about working here.
Cons
There aren't many, but:
- We do have an open-concept office, so if privacy is your thing, you might not like it (mostly, I remedy this with headphones and booking conference rooms for phone calls).
- That's really the only con I can think of that might bother someone.
The Digital Ring Response

Thanks so much for the great review of The Digital Ring! It makes our day that you consider TDR your dream job. And we agree — the people are what makes TDR the special company that it is. An open-concept office can definitely be an adjustment, and your headphone remedy is spot on! Thanks again!

Pros
It's not like most agencies where there's a rigid hierarchy. At every level, team members have the opportunity to share feedback and help shape the company's vision, direction, process, etc. If you demonstrate expertise and offer value, you'll be trusted with a lot of autonomy which means a flexible work schedule and room to carve your own career path. The people are amazing (good clients too) and no one takes themselves too seriously. The cliche "work hard, play hard" applies.
Cons
It's a small company, which means you've got to take the initiative if you want career growth. There's no corporate ladder to climb.
If you have a desire to learn and expand your knowledge base and experience in new areas of marketing--e.g. branding, UX/UI, AI the company is 1000% supportive of your learning goals. You can grow your knowledge base until your heart's content and gain exposure to things you would never get exposure to in a larger marketing firm.
Cons
TDR is a small company so while personal and professional growth opportunities are abundantly available and supported, organizational mobility will require patience.
