Pros

Start your career here, get experience and move on. Only the Cincinnati based people have any real opportunities and they keep shuffling them around to positions for which they have no expertise.

Cons

Yearlong “restructuring” and massive layoffs. Yet they’re on a buying spree with sports and keep funneling $$ to failing news network. Very in-bred, insular company; all the major heads are long time employees based in Cincinnati. Lack of diversity of thought, experience and cultural backgrounds. The divisions operate as silos and their run by mostly white men with egos and power. Most of the layoffs have been 60+ workers, so ageism and racism is rampant. The CEO has a journalism background and has driven the stock price into the toilet, why he still has a job is unknown.

Pros

Good pay, good people, good teams. It's the best pay I've had in my professional career. My immediate supervisors were amazing. Inclusive environment.

Cons

The company is contracting, losing hundreds of employees year after year. Layoffs are non-stop; they dropped their wellness program that used to net participants $500 a year toward their HSA's, all in an effort to raise the plummeting stock price. They are fully leaning into AI, mostly for the worse. They've been a step behind in the industry for decades, and while the people here are great, the poor strategy behind most decisions is leading to this company's death. I doubt they survive the end of the decade.
