Emmes is the office equivalent of McDonald's, but for clinical research. Work is doled out like it was on a conveyor belt. Beware, this is not really clinical research, it is information technology work. The company has done its best to take everything interesting out of the clinical trial formula. One spends 30% of time doing work, the other 70% documenting it. Middle management changes often. Outside sponsors make demands and workers have no power to respond. Lots of wasted time and very, very, very tedious. If you do gain any skills, they are nominal. Only work here if you have to.
