Pros

Decent work-life balance and a handful of inspiring people

Cons

The drive for being an AI enabled CRO means other needs get ignored or deprioritized. Absolutely AI is the next big advancement in technology however resources are disproportionately put into shiny new AI initiatives when other, less "exciting" areas get ignored. The message relayed to current employees was if you don't know AI, you're out. Given their willingness to layoff people that message should be taken seriously. It's so short sighted because the CRO business cannot operate by AI alone. There's little appreciation for the science and clinical technology needs for running a clinical trial. There's a lot of arrogance in the new leadership. Lower levels of the organization know so much but there's little interest in receiving that information up the chain. They brought in preconceived notions of what they wanted to achieve with little regard for the knowledge and experience the organization already has. The split of Emmes (CRO) and Veridix AI has been a huge disappointment.
