Pros

Benefits are decent, lot's of events and food. They like to have fun. Lot's of training opportunities. Campus is great, facilities are amazing.

Cons

Words that describe working at Friedkin: Entitlement, nepotism, passive aggressive, machiavellianism, no sense of responsibility. You will encounter them almost immediately. If you are not looking for job satisfaction or a sense of accomplishment, but would like to collect a paycheck and sit around all day, this is the perfect place for you. Don't rock the boat even a little. There is a "club" of individuals that will put you on a list if you upset them. Then manipulate events to make your life hell. Middle Management and VP's present a show for executives and any blame will be passed down to frontline managers and teams. The people that survive here the longest hide problems and lie about success. If you complete only one minor project a year you're golden, if you could complete ten projects, but step rub some people the wrong way to accomplish it you might as well make sure your resume is out there and keep posting it. Success is not as important as people's feelings here. Include people who have nothing to do with your project, make lazy people feel like they contribute when they do nothing, incorporate the worst ideas (not consider them and reject, but actually use them). That's how they want their egos stroked. If you are on some middle management or HR "crap" list you will be fired. Not for screwing-up, but just because they don't like you. They will makeup a reason if they can't find one. Doesn't matter how successful you are at your job. If there is no reason they will claim "culture" issues and terminate you. I've seen it happen. I was warned about it in the first week. People are scared to speak up. Don't go to HR for issues. They work for the company and not you. Lastly don't talk to executives unless they talk to you. They walk around like the Lannisters on Game of Thrones. I'm just waiting for one of them to call someone peasant. I have had first hand account of getting the "why did you talk to this person? Don't do it again. You're not on the 'list'. " as well as heard it before. Stories about people getting fired immediately for not "kissing the ring" so to speak.
