Pros
Pros used to be they reward hard work and people who want to work will get more hours over people who don't want to work. But that's changed.
Cons
Too much bureaucracy. They cut hours like it's all a big game to them when it's their employees' livelihood they're screwing with. They expect you to come in early and work late and work in 2 and 3 departments in a shift but make sure your original department is kept up. Lots of managers close to retirement collecting a paycheck so they run employees all over the place and they are nasty and backstabbing all so they can keep their jobs. The young managers they bring up don't care about customer service or ordering enough product. They think their job will always be there but if anyone has been to Giant lately, there's never any customers.
