*Scheduling is weekly (posted every Thursday for the next one week) * If someone calls off or quits don’t expect coverage (expect to handle the work of 2-3 people alone) * management doesn’t care and tells you to “buck up because we don’t have enough bodies” * hr manipulates you to stay because there “aren’t enough bodies, and finding a job is tough nowadays” * you’re expected to close the deli exactly when you’re supposed to be off the clock * managers keep piling on work on top of the work you already have to do alone * there is no gratitude from management for going above and beyond * if you work alone for 8 hours your breaks are nonexistent * if you have mental health problems, they don’t care as long as you come into work and do what you’re told. This place is not work/ life balanced, has expected more from me (a crippled employee) being paid $13 an hour as a PART TIME deli associate giving me 38-40 hours a week, yelling at me when I call off (2x because I was VOMITING) my body has deteriorated 100 fold since I started this job in APRIL. It is AUGUST. 4 months. OH AND IF YOU PUT IN YOUR AVAILABILITY THAT ISNT TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT MOST TIMES BECAUSE “we’re understaffed”. That seems like a you problem “deli manager”
