Pros
Organized, but decentralized in direct guidance (meaning different groups within the company and divisions are permitted to set their own direction) which allows for better direct support of an end job function.
Cons
Being a large company, when one area underperforms, questions arise for all. As demonstrated by certain struggles during the economic downturn.
