Pros
- Haskell is a great company that excels and has a grip on a strong market that is only going to grow. The company can be very "recession proof" - There are a lot of great and smart people all around the company who truly want the best for you. Lots of personable people around the offices. - If you get put on good projects and good teams, there is great potential for quick career growth and learning. But if you don't, then the opposite will occur. - This may depend on your team, but there is some flexibility to work from home 1-2 days a week. People are understanding that it can make your life easier, and usually don't mind as long as you get your work done. - There is also flexibility to move between offices. Mainly Jax, Dallas, Atlanta and Salt Lake for construction personnel.
Cons
- As mentioned, if you are not placed on good projects and on good teams, your career growth will be hindered. - The height of projects have lots of working hours. If you are on site, expect to log consistent 60-70 hour work weeks during the busy part of the project. - Haskell is growing very rapidly every day. To me it seems like we are growing too fast and hiring too many people instead of authentically growing and developing from within. Management sees lots of opportunity to capture certain sectors of the market and are basically doing whatever it takes to grow the company to take on as many large projects as possible.
