Pros
Hybrid work (currently) allowed. Employee candy store and a (small) discount for Chocolate World
Cons
The company fired and outsourced to India 100s of American employees causing a direct impact on the local economy and nearly destroying their families. This is not a large town and being the largest non-Healthcare company in the area carries a responsibility that the board and executive level have failed to uphold. This is NOT the legacy that Milton would have liked to see his company become.
Absolute downward tailspin in the IT space. After the outsourcing nearly every single employee in IT to India using one of the "consulting" firms to save money its going how you would expect. Lowest morale I've ever seen here, and I've been here a long time, people are looking for a new job to get out of the now toxic environment.
The new C and Executive levels from Pepsi and Amazon are clueless about what is happening on the ground. Technical debt is piling up, projects are at a stand still and several quarters behind schedule, the infrastructure is not being maintained, outages and time to repair are increasing. The few people that are left and care about this legacy are stuck working endless hours cleaning up what little they can of the mess that the outsourcing firm has created. Exact same issues at FedEx, if you know their problems then beware.
Story as old as outsourcing has been. New C level comes in, says he can save company money, outsources American jobs, vests his golden parachute, and then leaves. The employees are stuck holding the bag.
