Pros
- The ability to be involved with the best times in client's lives. We get paid to deliver our top-notch services when people are at the happiest moments. We get to see weddings, high school graduations, corporate parties, bar & bat mitzvahs, and basically any other party or event.. always celebrating! - Variety in work and in people. Due to our diverse offerings, we see the full spectrum of both clients and entertainment staff. We have the pleasure of going from discussing an amazing wedding with a bride to be to planning the entertainment for a 1200 person Fortune 500 company event. Our staff spans everything from our behind the scenes warehouse teams to polished performers. We have an extremely diverse team of "exceeds the standards" leaders. - We are encouraged and supported to reach in new directions. We try new things, we pry open new boxes, we find new spaces... and sometimes we slip along the way. We are always encouraged to learn from these situations, never harassed or harangued when we make mistakes. There is no hiding behind the phrase "that's how we have always done it". We always look for places to make our products, services, and environment better. - A Company with values. I have personally seen the owner do the "right thing" over and over... even when he had to personally take a loss to do so. From helping employees through tough financial times to refunding money clients experiencing unforeseen circumstances, to donating his personal time to make experiences unforgettable for clients, that is just how he works and how the company runs.
Cons
They are very few, and are very clearly laid out. - Most of our events are at night and on weekends. In our busy times, that's just how it works. - This is not "corporate" type of job. We all work, doing whatever is needed to exceed expectations.
