Pros

The type of work is frankly just a lot of fun! While it is still hard work, it is very enjoyable and rewarding. The staff is great, and especially having a small full-time staff, you become close with your co-workers because everyone must work as a team to accomplish the great things we do. Management is also good about making everyone feel appreciated for all the hard work we put in, and creates a light-hearted work environment, which helps when things get busy.

Cons

This is not for people looking for a normal 9-5 job. While most months out of the year, only 40 hours is necessary to stay on top of work, during the busiest months you will have to work very long and unusual hours. Those busy months can also feel very stressful, and you must be able to just go with the flow and think on your feet in order to succeed.

Pros

- The owners are very kind and really care about their employees - The job is hard work but a lot of fun, allowing for creative problem solving and planning/producing really awesome events - You get what you put into it -- hard work absolutely pays off here!

Cons

- This is definitely a "wears many hats" kind of role and you have to be up for taking whatever comes your way; I personally love it, but if you want something that is very structured, this isn't for you. - You need to be independent and be a go-getter; again, it works great for me but if you need a lot of management and/or instructions this won't work well. You need to be good at managing your own time and work flow.

Pros

Unique opportunity, Fun events, Nice staff.

Cons

10 hours of unpaid training expected. Owner Kevin refused to negotiate. Lots of company materials are terribly organized and unprofessionally written including many typos and inconsistencies.
