      Pros

      Some excellent people who understand the way things work and are willing to help Very nice facility Lots of continuing education opportunities

      Cons

      Cold, unfriendly culture, very separated by PIs. Senior management are not strong scientists or business people. A lot money and effort is wasted on looking good, while there is no work to support the image. High turnover due to poor treatment, long hours and little recognition. It's a shame the culture is so different from the Bar Harbor site.

      Pros

      Good pay and benefits are decent

      Cons

      Long commutes with tight time accountability due to newer rules. No more leniency for weather or traffic related tardiness that is common in Maine. Constantly changing rules and expectations are making the job impossible. Failure to meet new expectations lead to no finishes or raises or tuition reimbursement. Forced overtime in Ellsworth location with so.e employees being sent from Bar Harbor to cover. Seems like a sinking ship and I would not recommend anyone I liked for a job here.
