      Pros

      Lots of overtime Early hours Always busy

      Cons

      Mandatory overtime High stress environment Little to no assistance for anyone new they expect you to know it Seniority rules here you are either a new team member or have been here over ten years not much in between Extremely high turnover rate Company has been taking away perks such as bonuses for completing classes And sign on bonuses You will be euthanizing 100’s of mice a day. Over three separate health incidents in the last two months and nothing has been said or done.

      Good pay and benefits are decent

      Cons

      Long commutes with tight time accountability due to newer rules. No more leniency for weather or traffic related tardiness that is common in Maine. Constantly changing rules and expectations are making the job impossible. Failure to meet new expectations lead to no finishes or raises or tuition reimbursement. Forced overtime in Ellsworth location with so.e employees being sent from Bar Harbor to cover. Seems like a sinking ship and I would not recommend anyone I liked for a job here.
