Pros

Flexibility - depends on your gov't customer and the program office you support (not the company) due to Federal Gov't support (Federal Contracting Job).

Cons

Mangement does not listen and lacks appropriate managerial skills for their position (micro management heavy). Company is family-owned, making growth and progression obsolete. Former high ranking military members get privilege positions. There is a sense of a "Good Ole Boy" atmosphere Not a very diverse team

Pros

I’ve been with MIL for 4 years now, and it’s been such a rewarding journey so far. Funny enough, I originally found the company through Glassdoor, so writing this review feels very full circle. What started as a very specific corporate role has evolved into much more project-based work than I ever expected to be doing here. One of the things I appreciate most is being able to openly share ideas without fear of judgment. My supervisor has been incredibly supportive, and having leadership that genuinely listens has made a huge difference in both my growth and confidence. The flexibility of remote work, the trust I’m given, and the supportive environment are some of the biggest positives for me. The work-life balance has also been excellent, which has made it possible to continue growing professionally while still prioritizing my family and personal life.

Cons

Some benefits could definitely be more competitive
