Pros

- Great physical workplace - Great HR - Diverse workplace - Decent health/dental benefits - Decent 401K plan & employer contributions

Cons

- Not necessarily a fault of MIL itself, but due to the nature of remote contracting work and not physically working at a company building, I do not have much interaction with MIL employees. With that said, there are periodic in-person, non-contract work related activities that one can attend. - I will preface the following with that I don't believe this is a con: An area/branch in the company has a few employees that are related which may be possible concern of nepotism to some. Their work ethic seems great and on-par for their job title/duties; however, please note that my interaction with these individuals and their coworkers are very limited. With that said, this is by no means an accusation or confirmation and I know MIL has policies for conflicts of interest. In my time working at MIL, I have seen no cause for concern. - Pay should be better due to work performance, accomplishments, and cost-of-living increases.

Thank you for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback about your experience at MIL. We truly appreciate your insights and are grateful for your dedication to our company over the past 5-7 years. We're delighted to hear that you appreciate our physical workplace, HR support, diversity, and benefits offerings, including health/dental benefits and our 401K plan with employer contributions. We understand your concern about the nature of remote contracting work and the limited interaction with MIL employees. While we strive to provide opportunities for in-person activities, we acknowledge the challenge and will continue to explore ways to enhance employee engagement, even in remote settings. Regarding your feedback about potential conflicts of interest, we take such matters seriously and have robust policies and guidelines in place to address them. Your suggestion to periodically review conflicts of interest with regards to nepotism is valuable, and we will ensure that HR continues to assess and mitigate any concerns. Your advice on reviewing compensation practices is also appreciated. We are committed to recognizing and rewarding employee accomplishments and will take your suggestions into consideration as we strive to maintain competitive compensation practices and foster trust among our team members. Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback. Your insights contribute to the ongoing improvement and success of MIL. Pros

I’ve been with MIL for 4 years now, and it’s been such a rewarding journey so far. Funny enough, I originally found the company through Glassdoor, so writing this review feels very full circle. What started as a very specific corporate role has evolved into much more project-based work than I ever expected to be doing here. One of the things I appreciate most is being able to openly share ideas without fear of judgment. My supervisor has been incredibly supportive, and having leadership that genuinely listens has made a huge difference in both my growth and confidence. The flexibility of remote work, the trust I’m given, and the supportive environment are some of the biggest positives for me. The work-life balance has also been excellent, which has made it possible to continue growing professionally while still prioritizing my family and personal life.

Cons

Some benefits could definitely be more competitive
