Pros
Hmm….not much to write about here.
Cons
It used to be a great place to work. Leadership that valued and respected their employees. Then new leadership was appointed and things started to change. Culture took a dive, people were afraid to bring ideas to the table or they’d become targets, layoffs annually to make up for poor business leadership and sinking revenue. Now it’s an ultra militant, high tension, nose to the grindstone culture. Managers high up on the food chain can do no wrong, screaming at their employees, making excuses for their lack of performance, making their teams stay late in office for optics, judging them solely on billable metrics and productivity. The CEO often comes out of his office to a standing desk facing the rest of the office so he can judge everyone: look like you’re working at your computer? Away from your desk? Use the conference rooms and work collaboratively! But if I can’t see it, it didn’t happen! There’s no trust either way. On top of that, many of us are trying to find other jobs but the market is rough. No one has heard of MX so it devalues you on paper. Do yourself a favor and work anywhere else.
