Pros

Work life schedule flexibility. You work at your own pace, set own hours.

Cons

Lack of quality support, number of sales calls required to make a sale, selling something that doesn't even exist is very difficult, two required sales conferences in first four months (at my cost), initial training conference was cheapest I've ever attended, expect to not receive any compensation for five to six months, only about 10% actually make it into print.

Thanks for your feedback on glassdoor. While it's hard to know for sure if you are with N2 or not (due to the nature of review sites like this), assuming you are a part of our team, I sincerely hope you know you can come to me with any questions or suggestions on how to improve our company. I'm very sorry to hear that you feel we are "very, very misleading". We do our best to let everyone know upfront that this is a very challenging position. That said, I'm not sure where your number of 10% came from, because the number is actually 50%. It was lower years ago, so maybe that's where the confusion came from. We've been working to do a better job of screening applicants, and improving our training process. Currrently, 50% of the people that go through our training will make it to print. Becoming an Area Director with N2 is very similar to college...not everyone who starts college will graduate. In fact, over 40% of college freshmen will not graduate (according to the Institute of Education Sciences). I don't believe those numbers mean that colleges don't do a good job of supporting those students, it's simply that finishing school is very challenging. However, I understand you feel misled, and I am sorry. I take responsibility, and I will take another hard look at our interview process and see if there are places that we are not setting clear expectations. And please, let me know specifically where along the way you felt misled. Our goal is to be 100% forthright. It is better for both parties when the expectations are clear up front. You are one of the rare cases where someone felt misled, but was still tough enough to overcome the unexpected adversity. I wish you success with N2, and I do hope that we can turn your feelings around in time and earn your trust. Thanks again for sharing.

"Freedom to grow" – yes! That's what our Area Director opportunity is all about. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We will absolutely continue investing in support, training, and communication, as you recommend. As you know, we're always striving to "be better tomorrow than we are today." Pros

Managers that really care & promote learning and self-growth, flexibility with remote-work.

Cons

Pay structure and opportunities for raises are few and far between. Not a lot of monetizing reward or growth opportunities for picking up more work and being a team player.
