Pros

Remote work was great for flexibility, and people always available when you needed help with something. I learned so much about proper code management thanks to my great boss. He really encouraged us to always be pushing to be better.

Cons

Sometimes it would be a little unclear what we were supposed to be working on, especially with the ambiguity that comes with remote work.

Pros

The kids are the best part. It's good for those who have little to no experience. They pay for a masters degree.

Cons

Lead Teachers have no training in managing people. The lead teacher sits at the desk all day on their phone, eating and micromanaging. It's not really a school schedule. You must be present for 8 hours even if the kids are not there, and you have no other work to do. You get only 2 random weeks off in the summer. The pay is not worth it.

Our lead teachers have many administrative responsibilities, working with each student's team of clinicians, parents, and liaisons that may not be visible to other staff. However, if you have performance concerns about your lead teacher, please share it with your clinical supervisor. Thank you for all you do!
