Working with awesome students Seeing progress in students you work with Getting ABA experience Awesome team members

Cons

This place is a complete joke! They don't care about the students nothing goes into the needs of the student. They have 10 million dollar building opening up in a few weeks and there is LITERALLY NOTHING OVER THERE FOR THE STUDENTS! Oh but of course it's a place for more executives offices etc. the masters program if you decide to get an education through necc they own you for three years! It's not worth it for someone who went to school and has a passion to help student with disabilities this place is just all about money they don't care about the staff nor the students.

Pros

The kids are the best part. It's good for those who have little to no experience. They pay for a masters degree.

Cons

Lead Teachers have no training in managing people. The lead teacher sits at the desk all day on their phone, eating and micromanaging. It's not really a school schedule. You must be present for 8 hours even if the kids are not there, and you have no other work to do. You get only 2 random weeks off in the summer. The pay is not worth it.

Our lead teachers have many administrative responsibilities, working with each student's team of clinicians, parents, and liaisons that may not be visible to other staff. However, if you have performance concerns about your lead teacher, please share it with your clinical supervisor. Thank you for all you do!
