The treatment of staff is absolutely despicable, especially residential staff. Long hours with minimum help is not an ideal set up in my mind. Some of the residences don't even have designated bathrooms for just staff to use. If you're not a "yes-man", your time here will not be ideal. Incompetent staff are given promotions simply because they were in a certain person's lab or threw others under the bus. Staff who complain are constantly coddled and not expected to work to their full potential all in the name of keeping staff. The staff here don't realize that this establishment is unlike any other in the world and if you ever leave here, you need to learn how to not complain about everything. Specialists are constantly trying to show the rest of the company that their students "don't have problem behavior" and never listen to staff who work with these students 40+ hours a week. Constantly told to essentially suck it up and not complain about being sent to numerous teams in a week due to staff shortages across the board. Don't listen to the HR rep who may possibly respond to any reviews, this place is toxic and not great for your mental well being. I'm hanging on by a thread.
