Business Outlook
Pros
Four weeks paid vacation directly upon hire. The health insurance is affordable and the facility itself, along with the residences, are accommodating for children with such severe behavioral issues. Staff morale, in general, appears to be positive and most employees genuinely seem to care about the job and the students.
Cons
The hours are beyond demanding and this leads to a very high burn-out/turnover rate within the company. The students are highly aggressive, so it is more likely than not that you may suffer injuries or bodily harm. The pay is decent compared to that of comparable non-profit company jobs.
