Amazing place to start a teaching career - Graduate Teaching Associate The Ohio State University Employee Review

Pros

OSU provides a competitive compensation package for graduate students along with a fairly light teaching load, which gives you plenty of time for your own studies. At the same time, you get a ton of support for your teaching. There's always someone to provide you with advice, feedback, etc.

Cons

The only downsides of teach First-Year Composition at Ohio State are the same downsides that I imagine come with teaching First-Year Composition at any school -- student apathy, student whining, etc.

Pros

Great work life balance and accessible management

Cons

There are not many cons to working with the university except the pay was slightly lower than other competitive wages.

Pros

Many resources available for various types of studies

Cons

Unless your PI is tapped into the research community, the resources are spread out and difficult to find. The overall support from the University to PIs is limited. Those individuals in positions of authority are more concerned with their own optics than with supporting those who need it.
