      Pros

      Health insurance, access to healthcare on campus, access to gym, free bus pass (dependent on your position), basically access to all the resources a large university has.

      Cons

      Giant corporation masquerading as a university, not responsive to violations of code of conduct, students seem to have a hard time getting the classes they want so instructors often end up with students who are not excited to be there.

      Great work life balance and accessible management

      There are not many cons to working with the university except the pay was slightly lower than other competitive wages.

      Many resources available for various types of studies

      Cons

      Unless your PI is tapped into the research community, the resources are spread out and difficult to find. The overall support from the University to PIs is limited. Those individuals in positions of authority are more concerned with their own optics than with supporting those who need it.
