Pros

Ohio State has great benefits and staff members can sign up for up to 10 credit hours each semester (free). There are a lot a great little resources on OSU's campus-- there's a campus pharmacy, an incentive program for doing your yearly health screening, a discounted weight watchers program-- lots of little nuggets of benefits.

Cons

I would argue that most non-executive staff members are severely underpaid at Ohio State; perhaps because of the high number of people seeking to work at OSU (supply & demand, right?). Further, staff members do not seem really interested in serving students. They are there for the benefits and football tickets. This was my perception, at least. Oh, parking permit prices are insane and get worse every year.

Pros

The projects are unique and exciting. Pay is Ok. Co-workers are helpful and excited to be there.

Cons

Bureaucracy causes all of the turnover. Project Managers are thrown under the bus every time leadership gets involved.

Pros

Collaborative culture in the Office of Student Life. Excellent colleagues who are committed to their work. Pay is competitive for the area and with peer institutions. Excellent benefits and retirement plan.

Cons

I didn't have any cons to my time at Ohio State, it was a great experience.
