Pros

The families are amazing to work with. The option to provide telehealth service is beneficial. The company provides materials to be shipped to the client's house for therapy services. Lack of training for BTs providing in-person service to clients.

Cons

The company agreed to one salary and a certain availability. After 30 days, the CEO and new HR director stated that would have never been agreed to. Although, I have the agreement in writing. They refused to uphold the agreement and required 6 evening cases or take a 30K deduction in pay. The CEO and HR director would send emails contradicting each other in the same email chain when discussing the issue. Communication between departments leads to multiple emails without everyone being on the same page when providing case management. Client families received letters that service was denied due to being out of network while already completing the initial assessment which led to families having undue anxiety about finances. Being sent BTs to screen for a case, the BCBA and family agreed on a BT. Then the CEO came back and stated that BT could not be selected due to lack of availability to staff the case fully. When the BCBA emailed requesting advice on avoiding this situation in the future, none was given.

Pros

Working at The Perfect Child ABA has been a rewarding experience. The organization genuinely invests in both the professional and personal success of its employees. Management is approachable, supportive, and encourages continuous learning while providing opportunities for career advancement. One of the biggest advantages is the flexibility and autonomy. Schedules are designed to support a healthy work-life balance, and clinicians are trusted to make decisions that benefit their clients while receiving guidance whenever needed. The company emphasizes evidence-based care and collaboration, creating a positive environment where both employees and families feel supported. Competitive compensation, opportunities for clinical growth, and a team-focused culture make it an excellent place for BCBAs and other ABA professionals looking to build a long-term career.

Cons

No significant drawbacks to mention.

Pros

I have been a BCBA with TPC for 3 years. They make me feel genuinely appreciated and valued as an employee. They care and consider my personal scheduling needs and regularly check in with employee satisfaction calls. TPC even sends actual appreciation gifts seasonally. My lead has a small enough cohort to dedicate time to me whenever there is a case issue, which are also supported. As a salaried employee, TPC will periodically request a list of my cases that I wish to transfer to new hourly employees. Department leads are readily available to address case assignments, staffing, and scheduling needs. Staffing cases is amazing. Not only does TPC keep a minimal lead time on assigning technicians, but they also assign quality technicians. Even the new ones have relevant experience. I can interview the assigned technician and, if I do not think they are a good fit, request another candidate. TPC compensates me very well for what I do and are very open to increasing that compensation with new demands placed.  I am personally very happy as an employee and would easily recommend TPC to any qualified person.

Cons

They make boundaries very clear but also communicate with you directly when those boundaries are challenging. At times, email threads can get a bit cluttered but a quick call usually clears it up.
