Pros

The Perfect Playground have very supportive supervisors and staff. The supervisors are easily accessible and prompt in their responses. They give you the space you need to connect and work with the children. They are also ready and able to collaborate on the best treatment for a child if you have any questions. As a working mom, I have found them very flexible on the hours I can work. It is a great work environment and I find other therapists fantastic to work with. Everyone is dedicated in helping the children reach their potential. I frequently use the free and flexible continuing education opportunities that are provided through Bridge Academy which are available for The Perfect Playground staff. Relevant resources, treatment ideas, and other treatment opportunities are provided as well.

Cons

Paperwork, but that comes with the job no matter where and what your setting is. It has made me focus on on my own time management skills and habits so I can't even say it is a con, because I am always trying to achieve that balance.

Pros

The administration with The Perfect Playground has been so helpful and understanding with transitioning from a student to a full time therapist. They have so many resources available and take the time to answer any questions you may have. I also had a wonderful experience with the CF Supervisor I was assigned.

Cons

Not getting paid when students don't show up

Pros

Very helpful staff and great communication with the operations team! Have a supervisor which is great support. Money for travel! Operations team always has check ins and provides assistance when needed.

Cons

Fee-for-service, you are only paid when you see a student (or group of students) during 30 minute sessions) so two sessions is one hour of paid work. Unfortunately, when a student is absent you cannot get paid. There is no payment for documentation or IEP meetings (depends on the school if they require your attendance). Sign on bonus is over time not all at once.
