Pros

set your schedule work as many hours or as little as you want if you find a replacement you might have the opportunity to take over another's clients and have immediate work

Cons

When let go, I wasn't told exactly why, they didn't tell me specifically after I asked for my own growth and development Their main clients are female baby boomers and some don't want to be trained they just want to talk and there is not much you can do as a trainer. As a personal trainer for mainly older clients, you have to go very easy with them, increasing their weight slowly especially if they have improper form. If your client has improper form aka "going too fast" unless you have the CEO or a very experienced trainer and they give you the ok to train them properly there is not much you can do, the last thing you want is for a client to stop paying or worse being discouraged and not motivated since the clients pay good money for their training.

Pros

I work with a truly amazing team. I feel like the company values are in line with my own. I think the executive team is innovative; I also feel they truly listen to individual team members and take into account their experience when making decisions.

Cons

For my role, this is not a particularly high-paying job.

Pros

Great clients, good training program for onboarding, coworkers were friendly

Cons

Pay was minimum wage with no commissions. I was selling expensive packages really well but didn’t get a cut.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at The Perfect Workout. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed working with clients, valued the onboarding and training program, and had positive relationships with your coworkers—those are all areas we intentionally prioritize. Our compensation structure is designed to support meaningful, consistent engagement with our members. The focus of our model is on helping clients actively use and benefit from their workouts, and roles are structured around delivering that experience rather than transactional outcomes alone. This approach is intentional and reflects how we align expectations, responsibilities, and sustainability across the company. We appreciate the contributions you made during your time with us and wish you continued success moving forward.
