Pros

Work hours are daylight with weekends and holidays off. I have no other pros to add to this area. If it weren't for some of my co-workers and the hours I probably would have left this job for better opportunity. This job has shown me how "Not to treat people"

Cons

Poor management. Ideas by employees are not valued. Favoritism shown to some employees. The rules do not apply to all and many times management will allow one employee a certain privilege but then deny another the same request. No raises. No improvement to benefits. Staff is often times left to manage themselves. Money is more important then the patients.

Pros

Working for over 2 years with PHN has been such a blessing to me. PHN cares for the staff and the patients. I have all the equipment I need and it is in good working order. The site is clean, orderly, and professional looking. There are large beautiful window views from the operatories where I work. They have protocols in place, so I don't need to assume or figure a way to accomplish my role. There are support staff in multiple departments- HR, Billing (and insurance), referral management, leadership levels manage the workload. As providers, we are respected; our education and experience are heard and encouraged. Due to the large size of PHN, there are wonderful benefits that I have never had when I worked in private practice. On-site trainings; CE, license, and professional membership dues reimbursement. And so much more. I always feel supported by the leadership at PHN.

Cons

Due to the large size of PHN, the decision-making wheels need time to be accurate, fair, following gold star standards. This is a not a CON exactly, but something employees need to be aware.
